I just dont feel like doing the cat breeder thing today

Some days – just like those that work outside of the home – I didn’t feel like turning up and doing all the work today.  Read ‘work’ = cat type activities.

I don’t feel like scooping the trays.

I don’t feel like doing the washing or the cleaning.

I don’t feel like medicating the kittens/cats.

I don’t feel like taking pics.

I don’t feel like to going to the vet.

I don’t feel like talking to prospective or current new owners.

I don’t feel like updating the web site or putting pics up on Facebook etc.

I don’t feel like doing the mountains of paperwork that no one told me was required before I started breeding!

I don’t feel like cuddling kittens – oh no wait that’s not true

So, there is a LOT involved in having a cattery and breeding program and some days you get weary.

Then cats mate, babies get born.

People enquire about those babies. They offer homes that will be wonderful and will incorporate their kitten into their family.

Babies go off to homes and you find out how much love and laughter they bring to them.

This helps when those weary days come around.
